Further to the recent announcement of Bright Source’s partnership with European emergency lighting manufacturer TM Technologies, Bright Source are excited to share the type of emergency lighting systems this partnership enables them to offer to the UK market.

TM Technologies are a specialist emergency lighting manufacturer, formed over 20 years ago in Krakow, Poland. Operating from their state-of-the-art facility, they have made continual investment in automated manufacturing technology and testing procedures in order to ensure manufacturing efficiencies and product reliability. They make over 6,000 electronic devices each day, with everything designed, engineered and manufactured in Poland, where a dedicated R&D team provide continual product development.

To provide a guarantee of quality, TM Technologies ensure all of their emergency lighting products are third party tested, whether it’s a British kitemark or European equivalent, it means clients can use their products and systems with confidence.

Lee Halliday, Bright Source Director of Projects, has a long-standing relationship with TM Technologies, pre-dating his time working as an emergency lighting system specialist at Eaton. Lee said “Having known TM for such a long period of time and having had the opportunity to visit their factory, I knew when starting my role at Bright Source that they would provide a great option as a chosen emergency lighting partner. Our collaboration enables Bright Source to offer some fantastic emergency lighting systems that include automatic testing and provide multiple client benefits, these can be in the form of a central battery system or addressable self-contained emergency lighting.

“When it comes to addressable, automatic testing central battery systems, the UK market is dominated by numerous larger suppliers. We are here to provide a new option. We have the skill for reviewing specifications and helping reduce project costs, all through the proposal of the same type of system, just from an alternative supplier.”

In terms of the impact on Bright Source lighting design schemes, Project Co-Ordinator, Hannah Baxter-Gale contributed “The TM Technologies emergency lighting range enables us to offer a greater choice of luminaires and exit signs than most of the competition. As an example, the Primo range is very architectural and lends itself perfectly to high end installations. We can now provide a variety of lens options and lumen outputs. This makes them a dream for me to use as part of our lighting designs and makes it easy to cover all the requirements of BS-5266, such as coverage for points of emphasis. This is a great complement to our mains lighting offering.”

Bright Source are proud to have the opportunity to provide TM Technologies emergency lighting systems into the UK market.
