The Project
The Hilton Hotel, St Georges Park, which happens to be the second home of the England football team, increased its energy savings and reduced its maintenance costs after enlisting our help to design a new lighting scheme. At the same time, the Hilton wanted to maintain or enhance its ambience.
Hilton at St. George’s Park is set amidst 330 acres of rolling countryside and forms part of the FA’s national football centre which was opened by Prince William in 2012. It is home for all 24 England teams and provides a centre for the development of English football.
After conducting a detailed lighting survey, and a full lighting audit of the front and back of house, we proposed to change all 2,349 outdated lamps and fittings to LED panels, GLS, LED dimmable downlights and noncorrosives. Using our LED 600 x 600 panels, round panels and non-corrosive fittings, we were able to provide continuity throughout the main areas of the hotel.
Elsewhere, bedroom lamps were changed to LED. By doing this, the Hilton massively reduced its energy bills, plus it had five year maintenance free solutions. The hotel ambience was maintained and even enhanced in some key areas.
